And if you desire Lord, Messenger, and the home of Hereafter, then indeed Lord Allah has kept prepared for those who love seeing the Lord a great reward.
The above two verses were revealed before Messenger’s marriage with Zainab when the wives of Messenger demanded better sustenance in this worldly life. At that time, Messenger had four wives. Through these verses Lord Allah says to Messenger’s wives that if you prefer Allah, His Messenger, and the Hereafter, you must be ready to overcome any crisis with Messenger; and if you do not have the aim of life and are desiring this worldly life and its decoration, you will be given your sustenance and you will be released from the wedlock. But since they were believers, they preferred Allah, Messenger, and Hereafter over this worldly life and its decoration.
Today those who are living under the light of Adhikr are the Muhsins-who are living seeing the Lord. Since Adhikr-the Best Interpretation of Lord’s Book-is codified as a Book today, any Fujjar who doesn’t testify It, at the time of death Lord will tell him that he was a disbeliever as told in verse 39: 59; and at the time of death he will witness against his soul that he was a disbeliever as told in verse 7: 37; and in the Hereafter he will witness so as told in verse 6: 130. See explanation 24: 31; 33: 6.
